Tomb Raider

I don’t want to talk about just a single game in the tomb raider franchise for this post, because all of them are amazing. Culture and Mythical tale based games like Assassin’s creed and Far Cry are by far my most favorite types of games. But those two franchises are absolute trash compared to tomb raider when it comes to being accurate. Even though Tomb Raider is mainly about myths, is does a good job keeping the “real bits” in check. Tomb Raider makes sure that you feel like you’re in the location, their goal is that if you ever travel to the real thing, you’d see little to no difference from the game, besides people of course because I think that’s illegal.

Tomb Raider then takes myths and then expands on them, and giving them a new feel. All the games are filled with tombs of course, but each one has meaning behind it. There’s a tomb in the newest game, Shadow of the Tomb Raider that has lots and lots of blood and oil mixed together that acts like gasoline. That tomb puts into perspective how many people the Mayan sacrificed. The franchise is all around amazing and by far the best series that I’ve played.
