Bayonetta 1 & 2

Bayonetta is a relativity old franchise, but her name shines out in the gaming community because of her overly sexual and raunchy nature. There was obviously some controversy when the game first launched in 2009. A good majority of people though that it was sexist and blatant fan service, meaning a sexual appeal for the a majority of its fan base, even though the character was designed by a woman.

After the whole controversy was over, people looked at Bayonetta as a role model or an idol. Bayonetta took control of her sexuality and symbolized power. Within the game her whole objective is to kick as in various ways. As a witch with lost memories, she must keep the demons of hell from dragging her to hell by sacrificing angels. Although this game isn’t really story oriented, its real theme is sexual empowerment, body positivity and badassery.
